Slow Cooker Brown Sugar Garlic Chicken

Ingredients:

6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup minced garlic

1/3 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup water

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon black pepper

Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Place the chicken thighs in your slow cooker.
  2. In a mixing bowl, blend together the brown sugar, minced garlic, soy sauce, water, apple cider vinegar, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or if short on time, cook on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  5. Once done, transfer the chicken to a serving dish.
  6. Optionally, drizzle some of the slow-cooked sauce over the chicken and garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
  7. Serve alongside steamed rice or veggies for a complete meal.
