Outback Steakhouse Bloomin Fried Chicken

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup buttermilk

2 eggs

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon paprika

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Begin by pounding the chicken breasts to an even thickness using a meat mallet for consistent cooking.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the buttermilk and eggs until smooth.
  3. In a separate dish, combine the flour, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the buttermilk mixture, then coat it thoroughly in the flour mixture.
  5. Heat oil in a deep fryer or a large skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry the chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until they’re golden brown and fully cooked.
  7. Remove and drain the chicken on paper towels before serving.
