These King’s Hawaiian Ham and Swiss Sliders are incredibly simple to prepare! The poppy seed sauce elevates the flavor of these sliders to something truly special.
INGREDIENTS:
1 pack of King’s Hawaiian Original Sweet Dinner Rolls (12 pack)
1 lb shaved or sliced deli ham (I picked mine up from the lunch meat section!)
8 oz. block of Swiss cheese, shredded
1 1/2 sticks of butter
3 tablespoons Dijon honey mustard
1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 teaspoons poppy seeds (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the onions for 1-2 minutes.
Stir in the mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and poppy seeds. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes until the onions are softened.
Slice the entire pack of rolls in half horizontally, keeping the top and bottom halves intact.
Lightly spray a 9×13-inch casserole dish with non-stick spray, then place the bottom halves of the rolls in the dish and spoon half of the onion mixture over them.
Layer a slice of ham and sprinkle shredded Swiss cheese over each roll.
Place the top halves of the rolls on top, then spread the remaining onion mixture and any extra cheese over the top.
Cover the dish and bake for 15-20 minutes. Once done, separate the sliders and serve.
