Ingredients:
2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
2 cups marinara sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried oregano
2 tbsp olive oil
Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix together breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, basil, and oregano.
- Coat the chicken pieces with olive oil, then toss them in the breadcrumb mixture until well coated.
- Spread the chicken evenly in the baking dish.
- Pour marinara sauce over the chicken, followed by a layer of shredded mozzarella.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley, if desired.
