Chicken Crescent Rolls

Ingredients:

1 package crescent roll dough (8 rolls)

1 cup shredded cooked chicken

1/2 cup softened cream cheese

1/4 cup chopped green onions

1/4 cup finely diced bell pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 beaten egg (for egg wash)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, green onions, bell pepper, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture on the larger end of each triangle and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  5. Roll each triangle starting from the wide end, tucking the sides in to seal the filling.
  6. Arrange the rolled dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Brush the top of each roll with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
