  • 1/2 small Lemon
  • 2-3 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1/2-1 tbsp Hot Sauce (adjust for spice preference)
  • 1 tbsp Sweet Relish
  • 1-2 tsp Old Bay Seasoning, plus an additional 2 tsp (for seasoning the shrimp)
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tbsp Freshly Chopped Dill, plus 2 tsp for garnish
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

How to Make Cajun Shrimp Deviled Eggs:

Perfect Boiled Eggs

  1. Carefully place the eggs in a shallow pot.
  2. Fill the pot with water, ensuring the eggs are fully submerged. Once the water begins to boil, turn off the heat, cover the pot, and let the eggs sit for 15-20 minutes.

Cajun Egg Filling

  1. Peel the eggs, slice them in half, and remove the yolks, placing them in a medium-sized bowl. Set the egg whites aside on paper towels to dry.
  2. Add the mayonnaise to the egg yolks, followed by the remaining ingredients. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  3. Mix until smooth and creamy. Cover and set aside.

Cajun Shrimp

  1. Heat a medium-sized pan over medium-high heat and add the cooking oil. Pat the shrimp dry with a paper towel.
  2. Coat the shrimp with Old Bay seasoning and sauté until they are cooked through or slightly charred. Halfway through cooking, add about 1 tsp of lemon juice for extra flavor.

Plating Cajun Shrimp Deviled Eggs

  1. Evenly distribute the egg yolk mixture into the egg white halves.
  2. Top each egg with a Cajun shrimp.
  3. Garnish with paprika and fresh dill. Enjoy!
